I don't care how good you are at what you do, how epic your sales skills are, how many awards you've won - you screw up, you miss an email, you forget an order, you sleep through your alarm.
So who are you when shit hits the fan?
Do you blame your manager, point fingers at your customer, stress out, apologize profusely, beat yourself up for the crack in the seal? I can promise you I have done them all.
Being imperfect is so damn imperfect. When you take away the blame there is something much more raw in front of you - a mistake. How you approach your misgivings is a personal choice, choose to be kind.
